Vijay Basani

Vijay Basani has a rich and extensive work experience, spanning over several decades and roles in various companies.

Vijay is currently the Founder & CEO of CYTRIO, where they focus on data privacy compliance and aims to help companies meet data privacy regulations with user-friendly solutions.

In 1990, Vijay Basani co-founded and became a Board of Director at JVP Soft Pvt Ltd.

Vijay also served as a member of the Cyber Security Advisory Board at Baruch College starting in 2016.

Vijay Basani had significant involvement with Cygilant, where they first served as a Board Member in 2017 and later became the Co-Founder, Chairman, President & CEO. Cygilant specializes in providing security-as-a-service solutions and managed detection response services.

From 2002 to 2017, Vijay Basani was the Co-Founder, Chairman, President & CEO of EiQ Networks, Inc., a company focusing on cyber security.

Vijay founded AppIQ in 2001 and held the role of Founder until 2002.

Vijay Basani also worked as the Chief Strategy Officer at Network Appliance from 2000 to 2001.

Lastly, from 1996 to 2000, they founded and served as the Chairman, President and CEO of WebManage Technologies, Inc.

Vijay Basani pursued their education in a chronological manner. Vijay began their academic journey by attending Kakatiya University from 1982 to 1986, where they completed a BTech degree in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering. Later in 1987, they enrolled at Baruch College to pursue an MBA, specializing in Marketing & Finance, which they successfully completed in 1989. Following this, they pursued a Post MBA program at Baruch College from 1989 to 1990, focusing on Finance. In recent years, from 2015 to 2017, Vijay Basani attended Harvard Business School, where they completed the Owners and Presidents Management (OPM) program.
