Malcolm Harkins

Malcolm Harkins is currently an advisor at Cyvatar. Prior to that, they were the Chief Security and Trust Officer at Cymatic from July 2019 to April 2021. Malcolm was also the Chief Security and Trust Officer at Cylance Inc. from June 2015 to June 2019. At both companies, they were responsible for enabling business growth through trusted infrastructure, systems, and business processes. This included all aspects of information risk and security, as well as security and privacy policy. Malcolm was also responsible for peer outreach activities to drive improvement across the world in the understanding of cyber risks and best practices to manage and mitigate those risks.

Malcolm Harkins has a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Davis - Graduate School of Management. Malcolm also has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from UC Irvine. Malcolm is certified by ISACA in Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).
