Jakub Hajek

Jakub Hajek is an experienced professional with a diverse background in business development and engineering. Currently serving as the Director of Japanese Operations, Director of the Startup & Innovative SME Division, and Director of the Innovations Department at CzechInvest since September 2019, Jakub has played a significant role in driving innovation and growth. Previously, Jakub held various positions at MetPro Group, including Regional Business Manager and Business Support Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed sales and technical support across Central and Eastern Europe and Russia. Prior experience includes roles at Excor - Zerust, s.r.o. as an Application Engineer and at Sun Microsystems as a Webmaster, showcasing a blend of technical and managerial expertise. Jakub holds a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Czech Technical University in Prague and has furthered education at Politecnico di Torino.
