Katherine Burney

Katherine Burney is an Investment Banking Analyst at D.A. Davidson Companies, specializing in Diversified Industrials since July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Coach for Pinnacle Field Hockey, where Katherine contributed to the growth of the sport in Michigan by coaching elite-level girls aged 10-18 from April 2018 to May 2022. A summer internship with Hon. Loretta A. Preska at the US District Court for the Southern District of New York provided valuable exposure to the federal legal system in 2018, involving speech writing and trial observation. Earlier experience as a Summer Camp Counselor at Red Pine Camp in 2016 involved teaching water skiing and swimming to children while developing prioritization and leadership skills. Katherine holds a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, completing the program in April 2022, and earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan from 2017 to 2021.
