Richard M. Walka is a Senior Vice President with D&B and serves as the firm’s Director of the Environmental Remediation and Multimedia Compliance Division. With a multi-faceted career spanning over 40 years, his experience includes directing and managing remedial/site investigations, remedial design, and remedial construction in support of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Superfund program, as well as other assignments for a broad spectrum of projects such as research and development facilities, healthcare facilities, learning institutions, commuter railroads and airports.
In addition to his daily responsibilities, Mr. Walka directs and manages D&B’s Multimedia Compliance practice for small, mid-size and large commercial and industrial facilities. In this capacity, he manages and ensures the technical integrity, budget, schedule and overall quality of work products and deliverables produced by his Division. As a recognized expert in his field, Mr. Walka remains actively involved in many professional societies that include the Water Environment Federation, the Association of Environmental Professionals and the National Brownfields Association.
