Matt Kapczynski

Matt Kapczynski has a diverse work experience in sports equipment management and logistics. Matt currently holds the position of Head Equipment Manager at D.C. United, where they previously served as an Assistant Equipment Manager. Prior to this, they worked as an Academy Equipment Manager at Philadelphia Union. Before entering the sports industry, Matt worked for the International Longshoremans Association for four years, where they gained experience in shipping container management and warehouse inventory. Matt is also a Licensed Youth Soccer Referee, having completed a two-day course and officiated soccer games in New Jersey. Additionally, Matt has worked as a Game Day Volunteer at Bethlehem Steel FC and held various roles at Philadelphia Union, including Equipment Intern and Home Team Liaison. Matt has also worked as a Per Diem Equipment Manager for the U.S. Soccer Federation, where they handled and cleaned gear for youth national team camps. Overall, Matt's work experience showcases their expertise in equipment management, logistics, and sports operations.

Matt Kapczynski attended Paul VI High School from 2012 to 2016. Matt then pursued higher education at Widener University from 2016 to 2020, studying Sports Management.
