Nik Surette has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and art direction. Nik started their career as a Lifeguard/Swim Coach at YMCA of the USA from 2008 to 2015, where they ensured the safety and provided swimming lessons to patrons. Nik then worked as a Graphic Design Intern at Wolverine Worldwide in 2015, creating assets for various brands. Later, they became the Art Director at Dart Magazine - UMASS Dartmouth Publication, where they provided constructive criticism, managed the design team, and assisted with magazine production. At Wolverine Worldwide, they worked as a Graphic Designer/Production Artist in 2016, creating assets for multiple brands. Nik also served as a Graphic Designer at Murphys Boxing from 2019 to 2020. In 2017, they joined Boston Bruins as a Graphic Designer I, supporting creative projects for the team and its associated organizations. Nik then worked as a Mid-Level Graphic Designer for both New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they are working at D.C. United as the Art Director and Project Manager, responsible for the brands and events associated with D.C. United and Audi Field.

Nik Surette completed their education at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design in the year 2016.
