Hersh Acharya

Hersh Acharya started their work experience as a Litigation Associate at Doijode Associates from March 2011 to June 2013. They then worked as a Judicial Law Associate at Arlington County Circuit Court from September 2014 to May 2015. They also have experience at The George Washington University Law School, where they conducted research in Copyright Law for Professor Robert Brauneis from March 2015 to June 2015. From November 2015 to March 2020, Hersh served as an Attorney at The Walt Disney Company. They then worked as an Independent Legal Consultant from March 2020 to October 2021. Currently, Hersh holds the position of Lead Analyst (Legal) at The D. E. Shaw Group starting from November 2021.

Hersh Acharya has a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property Law from The George Washington University Law School, which was obtained from 2013 to 2014. In terms of additional certifications, Hersh Acharya holds a Certificate of Practice from the BCI - Bar Council of India, which was obtained in August 2010. Hersh also has a Certificate in CopyrightX from Harvard Law School, earned in 2021.
