Zhengyu Yin

Zhengyu Yin is a Quantitative Analyst at D. E. Shaw & Co. since June 2013, specializing in advanced quantitative methods. Prior to this role, Zhengyu served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Southern California from August 2008 to May 2013, focusing on the intersections of game theory, artificial intelligence, and mathematical optimization, particularly in game-theoretic modeling for security applications. Additionally, Zhengyu gained experience as a Software Development Engineer Intern at Facebook in the summer of 2012, where an offline analysis tool for ad auctions was developed. Zhengyu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Tsinghua University.
