Alon Oz

Alon Oz has been working in the field of PHY algorithms engineering since 2018, when they began working at Elbit Systems Ltd. During their time there, they developed and implemented DSP and wireless communication algorithms, and utilized Deep Learning concepts in the PHY layer.

Prior to this, Alon Oz was a PhD student at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2018. During their time there, they developed a novel approach based on genetic algorithms to characterize electrochemical power sources, and co-authored 7 publications in peer reviewed journals. Alon also served as a teaching assistant for the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, and was awarded the Excellent Tutor award in Spring 2015 and Spring 2016.

Alon Oz began their career at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in 2010, where they worked as a Research Assistant.

Most recently, Alon Oz began working at D-Fend Solutions in 2021 as a PHY Algorithms Engineer.

Alon Oz attended Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2013 where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Biochemical Engineering. Alon then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD at the same institution, which they completed in 2018. In 2020, they enrolled in a Machine and Deep Learning Course at Primrose.
