Adeeb Husnain

DFT Engineer at d-Matrix

Adeeb Husnain has a diverse range of work experience in the field of DFT (Design for Testability) engineering. Adeeb started their career as a Technical Advisor for IEEE from 2009 to 2010. Adeeb then worked as a Research Associate at IIT Hyderabad from 2011 to 2011, where they focused on cognitive radio implementation using software-defined radio for femtocell development.

After that, Adeeb joined Qualcomm as a Project Engineer from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they were responsible for RTL analysis using Spyglass for DFT logic, stuck-at and at-speed pattern generation and coverage analysis, and ATPG pattern simulation and debug.

Adeeb also worked as a Consultant for Qualcomm from 2012 to 2013, where they set up pattern generation and ensured test coverage above 99.50%.

In 2013, Adeeb joined Synopsys as an Applications Engineer, supporting Synopsys Test Tools (Tetramax & DFT Compiler) for top design companies globally. Adeeb continued in this role until 2015.

From 2015 to 2016, Adeeb worked as a Senior DFT Engineer at Cyient, handling projects for NXP Semiconductors. Adeeb used tools like TEST Kompress, RTL Compiler, NCSIM, DFTShell & TASS for compression analysis and pattern generation.

In 2016, Adeeb joined Samsung Electronics as a Lead Engineer, where they handled SOC & BLOCK Scan Insertion, pattern generation, and coverage analysis.

From 2018 to 2022, Adeeb worked at Intel Corporation as a DFT Engineer. Adeeb'sresponsibilities included IP-level PBIST insertion, yield issue analysis, fuse capture failure debugging, and PERL script development for dftring component validation.

During 2022, Adeeb worked at Qualcomm again, this time as a Staff Engineer.

Most recently, in 2022, Adeeb started working at d-Matrix as a DFT Engineer. Further details of this role are not provided.

Adeeb Husnain began their education at St Xavier's School Hazaribagh, where they completed their schooling from 1993 to 2004. Adeeb then attended D.A.V Public School in Bistupur, Jamshedpur from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained their AISSCE degree with a focus on PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology). Continuing their education, Adeeb enrolled at Manipal Institute of Technology from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera, although specific details regarding the timing of the certification are unavailable.
