Yuwei Qin

Yuwei Qin's work experience begins with their role at The University of Hong Kong as a Research Assistant from June 2016 to August 2016. They then joined Carnegie Mellon University in August 2015 as a Research Assistant, where they conducted research on storage systems and signal detection using machine learning. They also served as a teaching assistant for various courses.

In 2022, Yuwei Qin joined Microsoft as a Silicon Engineer - 2, contributing to their work until April 2023. Currently, they are employed at d-Matrix as an Engineer starting in April 2023.

Yuwei Qin has a strong education background in the field of electrical and computer engineering. From 2015 to 2020, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a focus on Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering at The University of Hong Kong. In 2013, Yuwei undertook an exchange study program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering along with Physics.
