Renato Volpe

Renato Volpe is an experienced aerospace engineer currently working at D-Orbit as an AOCS Engineer and Flight Dynamics Engineer since May 2022. Previously, Renato held the position of GNC Mission Designer Engineer at Avio from December 2020 to May 2022, where responsibilities included mission profile design for VEGA and VEGA C, development of guidance algorithms, and implementation of attitude navigation filters. Renato's academic background includes a PhD in Aeronautical and Space Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, complemented by a Master's degree in Sound Engineering and Electronics from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, a Master's in Space Engineering, and a Bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering, all from Sapienza Università di Roma. Additional experience includes a senior scholarship focused on CubeSat formation flying simulations and internships at GMV and Rucker Aerospace.
