Sara Lafkir

Sara Lafkir has a diverse work experience. Sara began their career in 2016 as a Staff Photographer/Reporter for Mercer University Cluster. Sara then interned at Maghreb Arab Press in 2017 and WBAI Pacifica Radio in 2018. In 2018, they were also a Graduate Instructional Associate at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. In 2019, they worked as a Video Producer and Multimedia Journalist for Producer, a Multimedia Intern for syracuse.com, a Video Producer for Rooted, a Production Editor and Video Producer for Syracuse Side Hustles, a Senior Producer and Creative Content Manager for D S Simon Media, and a Video Producer and Content Marketer for the same company.

Sara Lafkir has a varied educational background. Sara obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Media Studies from Al Akhawayn University in 2013-2017. Sara also attended Mercer University for a study abroad program in 2016, focusing on Media/Journalism. Sara then obtained their Master of Arts in Magazine, Newspaper & Online Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2018-2019. Additionally, they attended Le Cedre for their high school diploma in Physical Sciences from 2007-2013. Sara also holds a certification from Al Akhawayn University for Best SHSS Communication Capstone 2016-2017.
