Kevin Frye

Kevin Frye has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Kevin started their career as a CAD A/V Specialist at Charles M. Salter Associates, Inc., where they provided design development and documentation support for audio/video system design projects. Kevin then worked as a Design Engineer at Ultimate Control, primarily focusing on North Bay.

From 2005 to 2011, they served as a Design Engineer at SoundVision, specializing in audio, video, and control system design. During this time, they also contributed to lighting control system design and programming, as well as database maintenance and custom reporting solutions.

In 2012, Kevin joined High Definition Home as a Project Engineer, and in 2014, they became an IT Support Specialist at VIA International. At VIA, they acted as a liaison between design resources, managed data migration and grooming for the D-Tools platform, developed custom reports, and migrated web services to the Amazon Web Services platform.

Kevin showcased their software development skills as a Software Developer at MANAGEtoWIN in 2015. Kevin built a React/Flux application, an Express based RESTful API, and managed all aspects of the project, including AWS, DNS, SSL, and caching services. Kevin also consulted with the executive team to align development priorities with business objectives.

In the same year, Kevin took on the role of an Instructor II at MV Code Club, where they shared their knowledge and experience in problem-solving and coding. Kevin guided students in building software development skills using various platforms and languages.

Currently, Kevin works as a Senior Manager, Professional Services at D-Tools Inc., where they apply their expertise in managing professional services for the company.

Kevin Frye attended Sonoma State University from 2011 to 2013. During this time, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
