Jerome Sammy is a seasoned professional with a strong background in digital health and disaster risk reduction. Currently serving as a Field Coordinator at D-tree since June 2022, Jerome leads regional efforts in executing digital health interventions for HIV care and treatment, while enhancing the capabilities of health management teams. Prior experience includes a role as an Assistant Consultant for IOM - UN Migration in 2022, where assistance was provided in developing a disaster risk reduction training manual, and serving as a Training Program Coordinator for Building Resilience To Disasters. Additionally, Jerome contributed as a CEA and Emergency Preparedness and Response Trainer for Tanzania Red Cross Society from December 2019 to May 2022. Jerome holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Disaster Management from University of Dodoma, obtained in 2019.
