Adam Summers has worked in various roles in the IT industry since 2001. Adam began their career at Adelphia as a Technical Service Representative - Tier 2. In 2004, they became the System Administrator for a Buffalo NY Based Collections Agency, where they setup and supported the 200 employee company, and went on to see it through expanding up to four additional offices and providing support for eight franchise offices. Adam also installed and administered Asterisk IP/PBX phone systems, cutting their communications costs by more than half. In 2011, they joined Windham Professionals as a Systems Administrator, where they were the primary administrator of the Microsoft Exchange 2010 email infrastructure and primary systems administrator of the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 web infrastructure. Adam also assisted in the planning and initial installation of national call centers consisting of 200+ users. In 2013, they joined Astronics as a System Administrator, where they completed a major reorganization and upgrade of the company's complicated Microsoft Exchange server environment, as well as a major reorganization of the company's virtual environment including replacing all underlying storage of the VMware environment. Adam also converted the existing VMware virtual infrastructure to a Microsoft Windows Hyper-v virtual environment utilizing Microsoft server 2012 storage-spaces technology and their current Microsoft licensing, resulting in considerable financial savings in licensing and projected cost of replacing malfunctioning SAN hardware. In 2014, they joined GS Holdings as a System Administrator, and in 2018 they became the CEO of D1AL.

Adam Summers attended Erie Community College from 2003 to 2006, where they earned an Associate in Applied Science in Computer Information Systems.
