Alan Fontoura, FRM

Alan Fontoura, FRM has a diverse work experience in the financial industry. Alan is currently working as a Financial Engineer at d1g1t Inc. since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Risk Analyst at Canada Life from May 2022 to August 2022. Before that, they served as a Market Risk Analyst at BNY Mellon from December 2020 to August 2021. Alan also took a leave of absence between July 2020 and December 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Statistician at Petrobras from November 2018 to July 2020 and as an Analyst of Risks at PETROS - Fundação Petrobras de Seguridade Social from April 2017 to November 2018.

Alan Fontoura, FRM, holds a Master's degree in Financial Insurance from the University of Toronto, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Mestrado in Ciência da Computação from Cefet/RJ - Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica Celso Suckow da Fonseca, completing it between 2018 and 2020. Alan also holds a Graduação in Estatística from Escola Nacional de Ciências Estatísticas - ENCE, which they obtained from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their educational qualifications, Alan Fontoura has obtained several certifications. Alan is a Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) accredited by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP), which they achieved in August 2021. Alan also holds a Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from World Education Services, obtained in April 2021. Furthermore, Alan has completed the following online courses: "Crash Course on Python" and "Introduction to Git and GitHub" both from Coursera in September 2020, and "Using Python to Interact with the Operating System" also from Coursera in September 2020.
