Schmitz has been a freelance Music Composer and Producer since 1985, specializing in pop, dance, trance, and house music. In leadership roles, Schmitz serves as Chairman of the Board for Aiven, ONEiO, and CarbonCloud, along with being Executive Chairman at Eliq and Co-Founder of D2E-Labs and TreasureHunter. As a Board Member at Appinio and member of the board at Revoltab AG, Schmitz contributes expertise in digital integration, market research, and innovative energy insights. Educationally, Schmitz holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Services and completed an Abitur in Mathematics.
