Abhishek Shendre

Abhishek Shendre has extensive work experience, starting in 2012 as a Research Assistant at MMCOE Pune. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant, Course Grader, and Teaching Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In 2016, they joined D2S, Inc. as a Staff Engineer, where they focused on research and development of algorithms for model-based mask data preparation and mask process correction software. Abhishek became the owner of the Mask Verification Software and utilized CUDA and OpenMP-based parallel processing algorithms to improve performance for EDA CAD tools. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Principal Software Engineer at D2S, Inc., where they led the development of pixel level dose correction software and explored physical models for curvilinear photomask processing steps. Abhishek has a strong background in research, algorithm development, and software engineering.

Abhishek Shendre obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Maharashtra Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2012. Later, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Additionally, in January 2013, they obtained a certification in Heterogeneous Parallel Programming from Coursera.
