Mylah Wessels has extensive experience in both sports coaching and the legal field. Since January 2017, Mylah has held multiple coaching positions at Da Vinci Schools, including Varsity Girls Head Coach, Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach for Boys, Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach for Boys, Assistant Varsity Coach for Girls, and a voluntary role as Assistant Volleyball Coach. Mylah's legal career spans several years, beginning as a Legal Assistant at Solomon Saltsman Jamieson and continuing as a Litigation Paralegal at Law Offices of Baker & Oring, LLP, starting in September 1993 and maintaining that role since October 2005. Mylah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and History from UCLA.

Da Vinci Schools is a TK-College public charter school network located in Los Angeles, California, United States. Da Vinci Schools are dedicated to preparing students for college completion and 21st century jobs through an interdisciplinary project-based, real-world curriculum. Ninety-eight (98%) of Da Vinci graduates have successfully completed the A-G subject requirements for admission to a University of California or Cal State campus (a rate 51% higher than the State Average). Da Vinci graduates have been accepted to every UC and CSU, and to Stanford, MIT, Yale, Columbia, Brown, Princeton, Dartmouth, Purdue, USC, LMU, and many other prestigious private and public universities across the nation.
