Doctoral Therapist at Da Vinci Schools

Vanessa Paravati, AMFT, APCC, is an advanced doctoral trainee at the Brain Wellness Institute starting July 2024, specializing in neuropsychological assessment and outpatient psychotherapy. Currently serving as a doctoral therapist at Da Vinci Schools, Vanessa is gaining experience in school-based psychotherapy. With a strong foundation in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University, where additional roles include clinical research assistant, student ambassador, and peer mentor, Vanessa has also been an active member and president of Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization. Previous experience encompasses roles as a crisis clinician and marriage and family therapist trainee at Seneca Family of Agencies, and involvement at UCSF Emotion, Health, and Psychophysiology Laboratory as a research assistant. Vanessa holds a B.A. in Psychology, along with minors in Economics and English, from the University of Arizona.
