Cara Foss Arellano

Cara Foss Arellano has been working in the social sector since 2007. Cara began their career at the Lyric Theatre of San Jose as an Instigator, Irritant, Brand Evangelist and a Board Member - Development. In 2012, they co-founded the Free Range Opera Theater, Inc. and in 2018, they founded DaanMatch, PBC., a platform that facilitates connection, collaboration, and trust between donors and the social sector.

Cara Foss Arellano attended the Dell'Arte International School of Physical Theatre from 1986 to 1987, studying Performance. Cara then attended the Jean Shelton Actors Lab from 2006 to 2007. In 2015, they earned a Certificate of Fundraising Management from Indiana University\u2013Purdue University Indianapolis, studying Philanthropy. Finally, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of California, Berkeley from 2016 to 2020, studying Interdisciplinary Studies.
