Lauren Brown

Lauren Brown is a seasoned exploration geologist with extensive experience in the mineral resources sector. Currently serving as the Lead Exploration Geologist at BHP since September 2023, Lauren has previously held multiple roles at Dacian Gold Limited from December 2015 to June 2023, including Senior Project Exploration Geologist and Senior Exploration Geologist. Earlier professional experience includes the role of Project Geologist at Horseshoe Metals Ltd and Geologist at SJS Resource Management, where Lauren was responsible for managing drilling programs and conducting detailed geological assessments. Lauren holds a Master of Geological Sciences from the University of Leeds and has publications co-authored with Vearncombe, J. Technical skills include proficiency in ArcGIS and experience in health and safety management within geological projects.
