Adam Blanco has over 13 years of work experience in the banking industry. Adam started their career in 2004 as a Credit Analyst/Staff Auditor at Commercial Bank of Florida, where they worked for three years. In 2007, they joined BankUnited as an Assistant Vice President & Senior Auditor, and they held this position for three years. In 2010, Adam became the Vice President of Internal Audit at Gibraltar Private Bank & Trust, where they worked for seven years. Currently, they are serving as the Senior Vice President of Risk Management at Dade County Federal Credit Union, a position they have held since April 2017.
Adam Blanco earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Florida from 2000 to 2004. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including Certified Credit Union Executive Manager (CEM) from CUES in April 2022, NAFCU Certified Risk Manager (NCRM) from the National Association of Federally-Insured Credit Unions (NAFCU) in October 2019, and Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA) from the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) & Association of Credit Union Internal Auditors (ACUIA) in March 2018.
