Alexei Masterov

Alexei Masterov has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alexei is currently the Head of Product at Daedalean AI since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CTO at Boto Education from November 2020 to August 2022. From April 2017 to August 2022, Alexei worked as an Entrepreneur, Product and Strategy Consultant for various clients as a self-employed individual. Before that, they were the Senior Director of Product at Cortica from February 2016 to April 2017. Alexei also had an impactful tenure at Google, where they worked as a Product Manager from April 2010 to November 2015, contributing to the launch of several key features and services. Alexei also gained valuable experience at Universal Defence as the Enterprise Single Sign-On/Authentication Team Lead, at Passlogix as a Professional Services Engineer, at ICAP North America, Inc. as a Senior Developer, at Credit Suisse as a Developer/Technical Analyst, and at Haver Analytics as a Software Engineer.

Alexei Masterov earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Hunter College, which they attended from 1998 to 2002. Alexei then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Computer Science at Columbia University, completing it from 2002 to 2006. In 2011, Alexei participated in the Google Product Management Program (Executive MBA) at the Haas School of Business in the University of California, Berkeley. In addition to their educational achievements, Alexei obtained several certifications, including a Remote Pilot (Part 107) Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration in December 2022, a Dry Suit Diver certification from PADI in March 2012, an Open Water / Deep / Wreck / Night Diver certification from PADI in May 2008, a Master 25 ton with Aux Sail endorsement from the U.S. Coast Guard in August 2021, and an STCW certification from the Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping in August 2019.
