Willem van Sambeek

Willem Van Sambeek has extensive experience in the automotive industry. Willem began their career at Xella as an Assistant Controller from 1996 to 1999. Willem then joined Nunhems Zaden B.V. and held various roles, including Controller - EuMEA and Global Head of Finance & Administration, from 1999 to 2005.

In 2005, Willem joined DAF Trucks NV, where they had a long and successful career. Willem started as a Controller for PACCAR Parts Europe, responsible for the full P&L and management accounting. Willem then became the Director of Operations for PACCAR Parts Europe, overseeing the entire supply chain, including inventory management and warehousing. Willem played a key role in the expansion and integration of the division.

Following that, Willem became the Managing Director of PACCAR Leasing GmbH, where they were responsible for creating a profitable P&L and implementing a new sales organization. Willem also managed large accounts and collaborated with German DAF dealers. Later, they served as the Managing Director of PACCAR Financial Germany, focusing on generating new business and managing the portfolio.

Currently, Willem holds the position of Managing Director - DAF Trucks Germany, responsible for marketing and sales of new trucks, spare parts, and repair and maintenance contracts. Willem also manages key accounts and oversees after-sales support for the local network of sales dealers and workshops.

Throughout their career, Willem has demonstrated strong leadership skills, business acumen, and a proven track record of success in the industry.

Willem Van Sambeek has a Certified Credit Officer training from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2018. In 2008, they completed a Supply Chain Management Course at INSEAD. Furthermore, they obtained a Post Master's degree in Chartered Controller from Maastricht University from 1998 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned their Master's degree in Business economics / Finance & Accounting from Maastricht University in the years 1990 to 1996. Additionally, Van Sambeek attended Mill Hill from 1983 to 1990.
