Alex Gyr is the current VP of Partnerships & Growth at Daffy. Prior to this, they were the Head of Strategic Partnerships at Caffeine from September 2017 to January 2021. Before Caffeine, Alex was with YouTube as a Creator Solutions Strategist from April 2012 to August 2017.

Alex got their start in the industry as an intern at Disney Interactive Media Group from June 2011 to October 2011, before moving on to the Institute for the Future in June 2010 as an intern. In February 2009, they became the Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations for the Kannapolis Intimidators, and in January 2008, they were promoted to Assistant Media and Public Relations Manager for the Lakewood BlueClaws.

In 2007, Alex began their career in broadcasting as an Associate Reporter for MLB.com from June 2007 to October 2007.

Alex Gyr's educational career began at Gunn High School. Alex then went on to Stanford University where they received their BA in Public Policy and Economics. Finally, they attended UCLA Anderson School of Management where they received their MBA in Entertainment and Entrepreneurship.

Their manager is Adam Nash, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Alejandro Crosa - Co-Founder & CTO, Valerie Brown - Office Manager. Some individuals on their team include Danielle Villar - Community & Social Manager, Chelsea Paul - Head Of Marketing, and Chris Martinez - Head of Revenue.
