We are seeking an experienced Construction Administrator to lead projects in the central Florida area through construction phase services. The candidate for this full-time position will be located in our office in Melbourne, FL office with ability to travel to jobsites within the central Florida area, which may include jobsites in Tampa, Orlando, and along the East Coast of Florida.

A Construction Administrator is expected to be an excellent communicator and able to carry out the contractual responsibilities of the design team, facilitating a process for successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the point of contact for all coordination of communications within the Owner-Architect-Contractor relationship through the construction phase.

  • Management and organization of all project efforts, including submittal review, providing RFI and ASI information, reviewing change orders and pay applications, providing on-site observation and field reporting, providing close out services

  • Provide counsel to design teams through the design phases regarding constructability, related means and methods, and participating in quality control reviews

Qualifications

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in architectural studies, construction management, or related fields

  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience in a firm of professional design or construction

  • Preferred candidates will hold a professional license in their area of expertise, or may hold other certifications that support the construction phase services

  • Preferred candidates will have familiarity working with software platforms for construction phase management, such as Procore, Plan Grid, and/or other programs

  • Proficiency in Revit is encouraged, but not required

  • Strong technical expertise related to design and construction, along with ability to review documents and advise team members

Salary range will be determined based on years of experience, licensure and credentials, specific expertise, ability to effectively work with team members, consultants, and clients, and complexity of past projects completed.
