Design Assistant at Dagne Dover

Draven Pena has worked in the fashion industry since 2019. In that time, they have held a variety of roles including Media Editor at OMONDI, Research Intern at Lloyd Center, and Junior Editor at OMONDI. In 2021, they were a Product Designer at Dagne Dover, where they worked directly with the design and production teams to support the creation of 2 new collections and 1 new product line. Draven also managed trend decks, color dips, PLM, ideation, and moodboards. Additionally, they were a Project Coordinator & Research Fellow at The Or Foundation - Nonprofit, where they partnered with the OR founders to create 3 fashion education initiatives and supported the development of a transparency index of the 2nd hand clothing market. In 2020, they were an Unpaid Internship Research Fellow at The Or Foundation - Nonprofit, where they designed, researched, co-wrote, and published "The Dream Will Never Pay Off". In 2022, they began working as a Design Assistant at Dagne Dover.

Draven Pena attended Portland Community College from 2014 to 2016 and obtained an Associate's of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree / Gateway to College Program in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Draven then went on to the University of Cincinnati, where they graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Design/ Product Strategy in 2022.
