Betty Syanda is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in gender finance, business development, and corporate banking. Currently serving as a Gender Finance and Business Development Consultant at Gender Finance and Business Development since September 2012, Betty has led initiatives to implement gender-responsive programs and policies aimed at empowering women through improved access to financial resources. Prior to this, Betty worked as a Regional Business Development Consultant for Dahabshiil Group, where strategic partnerships and regional growth were achieved across eight countries in East and Central Africa. Betty's banking experience includes roles at organizations such as the Bank of Africa Kenya, GTBank, UBA Group, Consolidated Bank of Kenya, KCB Bank Group, Fina Bank Ltd, and Standard Chartered Bank, where a strong focus on corporate relationship management and team development led to significant achievements. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from the United States International University - Africa, along with Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Metaphysical Sciences.
