Matt Janes

Matt Janes has a diverse work experience in the recruitment and human resources field. Matt started their career as an HR Office Assistant at National American University in 2005, where they gained experience in payroll, employee tracking, and creating benefits newsletters. Matt then worked as a Graduate Assistant at The University of South Dakota before joining Healthcare Services Group as an Account Manager. In this role, they managed 11 employees, handled employee relations, and conducted interviews and orientation for new hires.

Moving on, Matt worked at Snelling Staffing Services as a Recruiter, where they performed candidate searches, interviewed qualified candidates, marketed services to businesses, and maintained knowledge of employment laws. Matt then joined Doherty: The Employment Experts, first as an On-Site Representative, where they acted as an HR Representative for temp employees, and later as a Recruiter, specializing in professional level Accounting/Finance roles. During their time at Doherty, they were recognized as the top recruiter for four consecutive years.

In 2018, Matt joined Dahl Consulting as a Recruiting Lead, focusing on professional level Accounting/Finance roles. Matt'sresponsibilities include placing positions such as CFO, Controller, Accountant, and Financial Analyst. Matt also works closely with hiring managers to manage the hiring process from inception to offer.

From 2004 to 2008, they attended the University of South Dakota, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.

In 2008 and 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration at the University of South Dakota.

In addition to their formal education, Matt Janes has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In February 2017, they obtained the certification of "Sourcing Ninja" from Social Talent. Furthermore, in October 2022, they completed the "Recruiting Effectiveness Training" and in November 2022, they completed the "Leadership Effectiveness Training", both conducted by Butler Street.
