Jakob Okmian has a diverse work experience starting in 2013 with Apollo Travel Group, where they worked as a Pricing Analyst and later as an Operations Research Analyst. During their time at Apollo, they focused on developing and executing pricing strategies for packaged tours, as well as monitoring forecasting models and price optimization tools. In 2016, Jakob joined IBM as a Business Analyst, supporting major European retailers in implementing and benefiting from IBM Omni-Channel Merchandising solutions. Most recently, Jakob has been working at Dahl Sverige AB since 2018 as the Head of Pricing, leading the pricing team and developing new tools and processes for improved pricing excellence across Finance, Marketing, and Sales.
Jakob Okmian completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business and Economics from Uppsala University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2011, they also briefly attended the National University of Singapore, focusing on Economics and Econometrics. Prior to their university education, Jakob Okmian attended Kungsholmens Gymnasium from 2003 to 2006, where they studied Natural Science.
Furthermore, Jakob Okmian has obtained several certifications, including being recognized as a speaker/presenter by IBM in November 2017. Jakob also received certifications in Retail Industry Foundations from IBM in October 2017 and in IBM Design Thinking Practitioner in June 2017.
