Barbara Seligman

Barbara Seligman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in health and nutrition, currently serving as the Technical Area Manager at DAI since August 2010. Prior to this role, Barbara held various key positions, including Principal Associate for International Health at Abt Associates, where employment lasted from July 2005 to September 2010, and worked as a Consultant for the Center for Global Development in early 2008, focusing on demographic trends and their implications for development outcomes. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Policy Adviser at USAID, Senior Advisor in Monitoring and Evaluation at Management Sciences for Health, and Senior Associate/Manager of Program Development at The Futures Group. Barbara also contributed as a Social Science Analyst at USAID's Office of Population and as a Survey Statistician at the US Bureau of the Census. Barbara holds a Master’s degree in Anthropology/Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in History/Archaeology from Cornell University.
