Peter Dimitroff

Peter Dimitroff is an experienced professional in international development and governance, currently serving as Chief of Party for the Anti-Corruption Project funded by USAID and UK Dev at DAI since March 2013. With a strong background in managing significant teams and budgets, Dimitroff has previously led initiatives in Afghanistan through various roles, including Vice President and Chief of Party for DAI's Assistance to Legislative Bodies of Afghanistan project. Prior experience includes serving as Country Director for the National Democratic Institute in both Yemen and Afghanistan, overseeing operational and programmatic efforts across the Arabian Gulf and within Afghanistan. Dimitroff's career began in the Canadian Armed Forces and later transitioned to governmental roles, including Chief of Staff to the Secretary of State and Legislative Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister of Canada. Educational credentials include a BA from the Royal Military College of Canada and an MA from Carleton University, both in fields related to political science and public policy.
