Heather Ritter

Heather Ritter has a strong background in human resources, with over 20 years of experience. Currently, they serve as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Daily Herald Media Group, where they are responsible for the strategic direction of the organization's HR department and collaborates with the executive team on organizational initiatives. Previously, they held positions at the Daily Herald Media Group as the Assistant Vice President/Director of Human Resources and as a Human Resources Manager. Prior to that, they worked at Paddock Publications/Daily Herald as a Benefits/Compensation Specialist.

Heather Ritter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management from DePaul University between 1990 and 1994. Heather also obtained a Certification in Certified Plan Sponsor Professional from Marsh McClellan Agency in 2021. Prior to their college education, Heather received a High School Diploma in General Studies from Ridgewood High School. Additionally, they have a Certification in Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork Certification.
