Tiffany Blanchette is a seasoned photo editor and photojournalist with extensive experience in the field of photography and journalism. Since June 2014, Tiffany has served as a photo editor and solo staff photographer at the Daily Journal, previously holding roles as a lead photographer and staff photojournalist, focusing on news, features, and sports content. In addition, Tiffany is the Director of Photography for Lifestyles of Kankakee County Magazine, contributing as the primary content producer. Earlier career experiences include freelance photojournalism for The Cairo Citizen and Southern Illinois University Carbondale, as well as various positions at The Daily Egyptian. Tiffany holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism (Photojournalism) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, and an Associate of Science in Kinesiology from Parkland College.

The Daily Journal is published Monday through Thursday afternoons and Saturday morning. The weekday circulation is 20,000. The Saturday circulation is 24,000. The Daily Journal provides coverage of Kankakee, Will, Iroquois, Ford, Livingston and Grundy counties in Illinois. The Daily Journal has won numerous awards for printing quality, advertising and editorial coverage. In addition to the main facility in Kankakee, the Daily Journal has an office located inside Northfield Square Mall, in Bourbonnais, Ill.
