James Lindsay has a strong background in finance and leadership in the telecommunications industry. James has worked in various roles at Vodafone, including Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone Czech Republic and Director of Global Planning Program. James was also the Finance Director for Vodafone UK's consumer market operations and served as the Regional Financial Controller for Southern Europe. Prior to their time at Vodafone, Lindsay worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Morgan Stanley and held positions at Arthur Andersen in corporate finance and audit. Currently, they are the Director of Group Finance at DMGT plc, where they oversee group financial control, planning, and analysis.
James Lindsay attended Royal Grammar School Guildford from 1987 to 1992. James then went on to study at the University of Oxford from 1992 to 1996, majoring in Engineering Science with specializations in Electronic, Electrical, Wireless, and Satellite Communications. Following their undergraduate studies, they obtained a degree in ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1999. Later, they completed their FCA qualification from ICAEW in 2016.
