Taha Sakr

Taha Sakr is an experienced communications specialist and journalist with a strong background in media relations and editorial management. Currently serving as a Foreign Press Officer at the وزارة التخطيط و التنمية الاقتصادية since January 2018, Taha is focused on conveying the Egyptian government's development initiatives to international media. In addition, Taha holds the position of Managing Editor at The Daily News Egypt, responsible for developing editorial schedules and resource allocation. With prior experience as a Communications Specialist at Icon Creations and as a Political Affairs Journalist for Egypt Independent, Taha has demonstrated expertise in brand management, media engagement, and content creation. Taha also contributed to the "Fe El Medan" talk show during a role as a scriptwriter and assistant producer at Al Tahrir TV Channel. Taha holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Cairo University.
