Emma Seiwell

Emma Seiwell is a Staff Metro Reporter for New York Daily News since October 2021, where responsibilities include serving as an on-call runner for breaking news across all five boroughs, tracking down sources, conducting in-the-field interviews, and delivering extensive feeds with original art. Previously, Emma worked as a Production Associate at ABC News supporting the Investigative Unit’s senior production staff on various Hulu documentary projects, and held several intern positions including Metro Reporting Intern at New York Daily News and Reporting Intern at Gotham Gazette, focusing on NYC mayoral and city council races. Emma has also gained experience through roles such as Assistant Multimedia Editor and Assistant Features Editor at The Fordham Observer, and various internships in media and marketing. Emma holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Fordham University and studied Liberal Arts and Sciences in Italy through IES Abroad.
