Peter Gault is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in developing and implementing solutions across various platforms. Peter began a career at BT during an industrial placement from September 2017 to August 2018, where valuable skills in Scala, Apache Spark, Impala, and Hive were gained while working on a big data solution. Following this, Peter continued with BT, advancing from a Graduate Software Engineer to a full Software Engineer, contributing to the transformation of an ecommerce system to integrate with Salesforce and developing back-end APIs. Currently, Peter serves as a Senior Software Engineer at DailyPay, with over three years of cumulative experience in the software development field. Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Science with First Class Honours from Ulster University, completed in 2019.
