Gerry Morgan

Gerry Morgan has a long history of work experience in the software engineering industry. Gerry began their career in 1993 as a Software Engineer at Syntelligence Systems Inc, where they designed and implemented a Microsoft Windows graphical user interface for a risk analysis expert system. Gerry then moved to Verity in 1995, where they served as a Software Author and was the technical project lead for a CD publishing software product. From 1998 to 2002, Gerry worked at DRA Software Training as a Lead Instructor and Training Manager, where they taught Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Software Developer courses, and designed and implemented a student evaluation system. From 2002 to 2010, Gerry was the CTO of ExpenseController, where they designed and implemented a web-based application to streamline business and travel expense reporting and provide mechanisms for financial control. Since 2019, Gerry has been a Software Engineer at DailyVest.

Gerry Morgan is currently enrolled in the University of Cambridge, where they are pursuing a CELTA in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. Prior to this, they obtained a MSc in Cognitive Science from the University of Sussex, a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages from the University of Bradford, and a Licence (Bachelors Degree) in Linguistics from Universit\u00e9 Toulouse - Jean Jaur\u00e8s. Gerry also holds certifications from Udacity, Microsoft, and Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer.
