Martin Homberg

Martin Homberg is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as Head of Procurement for Daimler Bus Chassis, Interior, and Powertrain at Daimler Truck AG since December 2020. Prior to this role, Martin held various senior management positions within Daimler AG, including Head of Procurement for Mercedes-Benz Assembly Components and Spare Parts, and Head of Procurement for Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks and After Sales. Martin has a rich history in procurement and strategic operations, having led interdisciplinary teams and managed significant procurement volumes across numerous projects. Earlier career experiences include serving as President & CEO of Axle Alliance Company and holding multiple managerial roles at Daimler AG, focusing on manufacturing engineering, supplier development, and production management. Martin holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and has completed education at Tecnológico de Monterrey and Colegio Aleman Alexander von Humboldt.
