Phil Luty is a seasoned professional in the field of indirect taxes, currently serving as the Partner and Head of Indirect Taxes at Dains LLP since February 2009. Prior to this role, Phil spent over 15 years at Price Waterhouse Coopers as a Senior Manager in Indirect Taxes, following a foundational experience at HM Revenue & Customs as an Executive Officer specializing in VAT. Phil's career began at the Coventry VAT Office after graduating with a BSc Hons in Geography from the University of Birmingham. Throughout a career spanning over three decades, Phil has garnered extensive experience in VAT matters across various sectors, including significant work with automotive businesses.
