April Browne has a diverse work experience in various industries. April started their career in 2011 as a Secondary Teacher at Camden High School and worked there until 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Casual Secondary Teacher at All Saints Catholic College until October of that year. During the same year, they also took on the role of Science Education & Engagement Coordinator at Western Sydney University, where they worked until 2017. From 2017 to the present, April has been working at Dairy Australia, initially as the Regional Manager & Executive Officer and currently as the Lead - Learning & Development Partners.

April Browne completed their education in a chronological order. In 2006, they obtained a Certificate III in Agriculture from Tocal Agricultural College, specializing in Agriculture, General. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Food Science & Human Nutrition from the University of Newcastle, specializing in Food Science and Technology & Human Nutrition, which they completed in 2009. Lastly, in 2010-2011, they pursued a Masters of Teaching in Secondary Education and Teaching from Western Sydney University.
