Jay Mody has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 at Deloitte as a Manager in Consulting, Strategy & Operations. In this role, they developed entry strategies for clients in various markets and presented recommendations to client leaders. Jay also contributed to creating concept papers and market assessments for telecom and technology companies.
In 2013, Jay joined Tata Communications as a Manager in Corporate Strategy. Jay was responsible for developing segment strategies, leading strategic planning for enterprise products, and collaborating with sales and product development teams. Jay also created a 3-year strategy for the Enterprise segment, which was presented to the CEO.
From 2014 to 2019, Jay worked at Telstra in different roles, including Senior Strategy Specialist, Senior Product Manager, and Strategy & Demand Lead. Jay led the creation of product strategy roadmaps, developed customer segmentation and growth strategies, and contributed to the creation of Telstra's challenger mobile brand.
Currently, Jay is working at Dairy Australia as the Head of Strategy & Planning. In this leadership role, they drive the design of the organizational strategy, leads strategic projects, and implements a transformational shift in monitoring performance and portfolio governance.
Jay Mody obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from D. J. Sanghvi College of Engg., Mumbai University in the years 2000-2004. Following that, they pursued an MBA in General Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur during 2004-2006.
