Production Shift Manager at Dairy Crest

Tom Baynham has over a decade of experience in the manufacturing sector, currently serving as Production Shift Manager at Dairy Crest since October 2009. In this role, Tom is responsible for the packing operations of the company’s prominent Cheddar brand in a highly automated facility, overseeing daily operations including engineering, quality, safety, and performance, with a production capacity exceeding 36,000 tons annually. Prior to this, Tom worked at Jaguar Land Rover from June 2003 to April 2009 as a Prototype Toolmaker/Engineer, where participation in a competitive apprenticeship program provided comprehensive experience across various departments of a leading automotive manufacturer. Tom also holds college and workplace qualifications obtained between 2003 and 2007.
