Joyce Peppin holds significant leadership experience in the legal and political arenas, currently serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Director of Government Relations and Legal Services at Dairyland Power Cooperative since August 2021. Prior to this, Joyce served as Director of Government Affairs and General Counsel at the Minnesota Rural Electric Association from June 2018 to July 2021, and worked as an Attorney at Peppin Law Office focusing on estate planning from June 2014 to September 2018. Joyce's extensive experience in public service includes a tenure as Majority Leader of the Minnesota House of Representatives from January 2005 to July 2018, and a role as Manager of Public Relations at U.S. Bank from January 1997 to January 2002. Joyce's academic credentials include a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Speech Communications from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Headquartered in La Crosse, Wis., Dairyland employs about 550 people in the region.
