Peter has experience working as a Field Instructor at Prescott College and Outward Bound USA, as well as a Ropes Course & Outdoor Ed. Director at Friendly Pines Camp. Currently, Peter serves as a Firefighter EMT & HAZMAT Tech. at Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Department, where Peter provides medical and fire suppression emergency services to the northern Phoenix metro area. Additionally, Peter has worked as a Rope Access Technician at Mistras Group Inc., focusing on maintenance and inspection of power generating wind turbines.

Daisy Mountain Fire & Medical Department
The Daisy Mountain Fire District was formed in January 1988. The district encompasses roughly 100 square miles in the north central section of Maricopa County, Arizona. The district is governed by a five-member elected fire board. The department protects the citizen's of Anthem, Desert Hills and New River with four fire stations staffed with 88 sworn personnel as well as additional support staff. The Daisy Mountain Fire Department currently staffs a fleet of four paramedic engine companies, one ladder company, two paramedic rescues (ambulance), and one battalion command unit. In addition, the department maintains a fleet of support apparatus, including a hazardous materials support unit with tox-medic capability, several water tankers, several brush trucks, and several support and staff vehicles. The Daisy Mountain Fire Department is a member of the Phoenix Regional Automatic Aid System.
