Damon Daood

Damon Daood has worked in various roles in the design industry since 2000. Damon began their career as a Senior Graphic Designer at FutureNext, followed by a Senior Designer role at Schaub&Company. In 2002, they held positions as an Art Director at Damon Daood Design and a Designer at MOIAGROUP, LLC. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Senior Art Director at The Hondo Group, Creative Director at Nurun, and Owner/Film Director at Cacao Brothers Productions, LLC. From 2012 to 2018, they were a Visual Design Systems & Prototype Dev Mgr, Manager of UX Visual Design Team Cisco WebEx, User-Centered Designer - Collaboration Design Studios, and Manager of UX Visual Design at Cisco. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Special Lecturer at The University of Akron and VP, Visual Design and Design Operative at Daito Design.

Damon Daood completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design Visual Communication from Kent State University in 1995. Damon then attended Cooper Professional Education for Interaction Design and Design Leadership, though no degree was obtained.
